Paramount is an American media company, Paramount Skydance Corporation, controlled by the Ellison family through Harbor Lights Entertainment, Inc., which holds 100% of its Class A stock — the only voting class. Its non-voting Class B stock trades on Nasdaq as PSKY. The present parent was incorporated in Delaware in 2024 and took over Paramount Global and Skydance when the transaction closed on 7 August 2025.

Paramount agreed in February 2026 to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, and a court order of 30 September 2026 allows that merger to close. It had not closed as of 1 October 2026, and Warner Bros. Discovery is not part of Paramount.
